Week 9: Cole's Weekly Report & Reflection Post

Hello Everyone,

This week’s post is going to be a bit shorter again (Sorry!), but there is tons of solid content on this blog from this week, so give it a read! In particular, I was able to explore and engage within the VoiceThread tool in which permitted for an individual like me to learn about how individuals can effectively engage with one another through a different avenue. I found the notion of utilizing this particular tool to be very useful and insightful because it ultimately built upon my current knowledge.

What Did I learn About VoiceThread?
After exploring the overall confines of the VoiceThread tool, I was able to realize useful this website would be when conducting future educational activities. In particular, I believe that I could use this particular tool when I am working on group presentation assignments and projects; permitting for all individuals to have their own personal input on a slideshow via documents, images, videos, voice comments, and written comments. Moreover, this tool could also be used within the workplace setting when collaborating with fellow professionals; gaining valuable input from those individuals and improving such efforts through this particular avenue of engagement.

Building Knowledge! – VoiceThread:
Utilizing the VoiceThread tool allowed for me to build upon my overall knowledge and become a more informed individual. In addition, this particular tool broadened my horizons within the realm of collaboration and the various extensions in which I can utilize to engage with various colleagues on an educational and work-related basis.

Weekly Reader Item!
This week I found an article through my feedly (via Digital Trends), which pertains to the notion that taking pictures of your food anduploading it to Instagram effectively makes it taste better. Personally, I thought this would be useful for my fellow colleagues as I am sure many of them are active users of this particular application and provides relevancy to how we view various things in today’s society.

That’s it for this week!
